Make Solana Token Immutable – Documentation & Guide

To make a token immutable on Solana means locking in all future changes to its metadata, which includes its name, symbol, and URI. Once a token is set to be immutable, no one—including the original creator—can alter its properties. This ensures that the token’s characteristics remain permanently fixed, providing transparency and trust for holders and investors by preventing unauthorized or unexpected changes to the token’s information.
